 Open Door
 Advancing Healthy Sexuality

 About

"Open Door" — Advancing Healthy Sexuality dedicated to your sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice. We champion not only rights and dignity but also joy, intimacy, and pleasure that are essential to human wellbeing.

Open Door was founded in 1966 under the name "The Israeli Family Planning Association" and became a registered nonprofit in 1984, with the aim of advancing a society in which every family and individual enjoys good health and quality of life, regardless of their ethnic, religious, or cultural background. A society that upholds the values of gender equality and human rights - including, among others, the right to healthy sexuality — in which every person is entitled to make informed and free decisions, with equal access to education and quality healthcare services. Open Door is the exclusive representative in Israel of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), which has been operating for over 60 years in approximately 180 countries. Open Door leads policy at the local, national, and global levels to make sexual health services accessible to adolescents and young people, and to advance recognition of one of the most fundamental human rights: the right to sexual health - Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
